  • Shots on the nose!

Hi there. I have a 21 month old standard poodle that has developed some pink spots along the lower margin of her nose and progressive up into her nose. They don't seem to be bothering her, and are not open. Can anyone please give me any ideas as to the cause and how to treat it before she goes to the vet yet again?

Dogs noses can turn pink in winter colder months, called snow nose.
Without an exam or photo- cant say if its normal or raised/lumpy/wet/dry etc etc. Sorry not much help.
We do have standard poodle owners here. Perhaps they will chirp up.

          Can you show a photo?

My Standard Poodle's nose goes from black in summer to a light brown in winter... as the others have said, it's called snow nose or winter nose

My boy doesn't get it very severely but some dogs noses go very light in colour.

Here's my boy's nose last winter... during summer it is jet black!
