Why do you want a pugalier? And not a pug, or a king charles cavalier spaniel or a tenterfield terrier or a papillion?

Do you understand that the best breeders plan their litters to meet demand? They don't have some stored on a shop shelf somewhere just on the off chance someone will suddenly decide they want a puppy. I spent about a year and a half checking out our local pounds for a rescue puppy before I found the right one for me. I also looked at a lot of local breeders but I didn't like the dogs from the most well known one.

And you might want to check out this link too. A puppy mill will supply the puppy you want when you want it, but when it is sick because of being born and raised in unhygenic conditions, or it's agressive and snappy because it was taken away from its mother too young, or it's nothing like the sort of dog you were expecting -because every mixed breed puppy is unique - you can't pick and choose the best of both parent breeds, and based on what dogs I've seen out of the system - I think some puppy farmers lie about puppy parentage. They tell you it's a pugalier but it could be a poodle x beagle or a jrt x bulldog.

I dont think there is a registry for these types of dogs, personally I find them ugly as a hat full of bumholes, but hey whatever floats your boat. If you weree after a Pug you would be able to find it alot easier and more then likely cheaper! Maybe you could try gumtree but just remember to do your research and meet the parents.

    Goodluck!

    Merged the threads.

I don't think we need to have this conversation in two places.

When I read the name of that puppy farm I honestly thought the poster was being sarcastic! Now I googled it too and I am appalled that there would be a puppy mill with a name that sounds like that. They might as well have called themselves 'Puppies Galore' or something. Though it is the insinuation that puppies are toys that I find most shocking.

hahaha I think I have found the one you are talking about... I must of looked at a different one last night in Vic :S lol I like their description of appearance and temperament of the Pugalier...

Appearance ~ A very cute face that is not as flat as the pug so this gives them the ability to breath much better.

Temperament ~ These dogs are very happy and love to be with you all the time.
ridiculous that people would buy dogs from someone who breeds so many different types anyway... that would immediately be a big turn off even if I didn't know about puppy farms.

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.

And as for the person that said the breed is ugly, than y would u comment? dont even know y u would look at my post if you thought they were ugly.
    Anyways thanks for your feedback
just because i want a certain dog, does not mean im supporting puppy farms so thanks for the hammering when asking a simple question on a FORUM
