You need to get out to the dog shows and meet some breeds you can have.

Well it is possible to import a dog if you have really really deep pockets and can persuade a breeder to sell you one. And then it might be like meeting your favourite celebrity. Not how you thought.

I would never import one, I think that would be far too traumatic for the poor dog. considering all the breeds that are available & the many that need rehoming, I think it would be selfish to try to bring one over just because I think they're are adorable.

Oh, but how I would love one.

I think Matthew McConaughy is adorable to look at but I'm never going to import him either...

But if I did import a bolognese it could keep me warm in winter with it's cuddles. Oh, but I guess mathew could do that do. Lol

I strongly recommend an Australian Cattle Dog for that. Swag warmer was one of the things they were bred for.

    CUTE!
lol... maybe u can just opt for a frise then? They look very alike, apart from the fur texture. Frise or Bolog, they'll still keep ya warm in winter though

Frise was the original dog I was researching, (i have a frise x ) from there I found the bolo & fell in love. I just love their hair & they fit what I'm looking for.

Oh well, im not in a hurry to get another dog but wanted to be sure of what I wanted for when the time comes.

What about a toy poodle? You could let its coat go long...

Or bedlington terrier. Doesn't look like a bichon but has a to die for coat, so soft...
