    Default Pug Puppy Wanted

    Hello,

We (Kate and Marcus) are a youngish long term couple who are seeking a pug to join us in our home.

We live in Kalorama in Mount Dandenong and have a large amount of land plus an enclosed verandah however i would envision that the dog will be inside staying warm with us all the time. I work from home as a blogger so will be with the pup all day and can spend loads of time in the garden playing. We have both had dogs from a young age and there are many dogs in our families so we know how to look after the pup and what that entails.

We will have a moodle pup too so the pup will have a playmate as well.

We are very health conscious people so the pup will be well cared for.

We are very keen to find a pug puppy soon.

    Thank you & Kind Regards,

    Kate Lee

if you're serious about getting a quality pug that is from a breeder who cares about the quality of their puppies and making sure they are properly socialised - you need to do lots of research and it may take up to a year to get the right puppy.

Research involves getting opinions from knowledgeable people who probably also breed or judge the breed, and not just the puppy breeder's website. Testimonials are nice but nobody is going to put negative reviews up on their own website.

If I was you and I wanted a pug - I would contact the pug club of Victoria and meet as many of their members and breeders as possible - socially (at club days) or at dog shows and talk to them.
Pug Club of Victoria, Info on showing and health of your pug

At the pug club, I would not mention a "moodle" - or whatever "designer cross" that is - because they mostly come from puppy farms and are born into horror stories for the breeder dogs and the puppies are often taken away from their litter mates way too young (should stay with litter to at least 8 weeks), and have problems being with other dogs because of it, and often have health problems that lead to avoidable expense at the vet.

Even ones that are born into single family homes (Back yard breeders) - those breeders often do no health checking of the parent dogs, and they all make promises they can't keep like "the best of both breeds" when you could equally get the "worst of both breeds".
