Cappy came back today. His box has a some of the paint chipped off - ok I can deal with that. The locket is poor quality and has a chunk missing out of it. The picture that goes on top is too big for the lid.
I called the company up and discussed it with a young lady who said they would sort it all out.
I then get a call from the owner who says - Im sorry, I dont think we will ever be able to meet your standards. How about I refund you say 100$ and we'll go on our way.
She then told me that if I wanted other jewellery I would have to fill it with ashes myself. Further to this she basically treated me like a criminal.
I am just gutted. it's like losing Cappy all over again.
Of course I have high standards - he was my life - why shouldnt I have the HIGHEST standards?
I cant name and shame on a public forum however if needed this will go to consumer affairs and vcat.
