I don't believe any of us can get our point across by insulting or ramming our opinion down the throat of others. I also don't believe what you feed your pet is indicative of your love or level of commitment.
In my opinion I think most of us are up to a heated debate but accusations, insults and slurs should be left out of this forum. Let's leave kids out of it. I am of the opinion that only parents are entitled to discuss their own children and what they do/don't do, eat or don't eat - particularly if you don't personally know the people involved. I always feel bringing other peoples kids into things like this is looking for trouble. Most of us parents are absolutely raving loonies if someone mentions our kids in any way other than a nice one (well, at least I am).
It is okay to be passionate and opinionated but tact and diplomacy and POLITENESS should also be shown. It is okay to have an opinion but you also need to accept others may have a differing one.
In my business I have dogs who are 15/16 years old and live on canned Pal or Chum. I also have dogs who are 15/16 who live on Eukanuba. Point is diet is not the only determining factor in the well being of our pets - genetics, environment, exercise etc.
I wonder if the original poster is laughing his head off. Maybe he is a troll and is enjoying every moment of this. Lets not give him any reason to sit back and smile.
