I don't have to block you. the homer hasn't got back to me, nor has anyone else. I don't know what this means. I'll have to assume the dog has more time, and/or there has been a solution, and no one has bothered to let me know. I just have to tell myself so and try to believe it, anyway, and with any luck, I can get on with things here. I don't know what drivers are. I don't know how to do such things.
If my formal explanations annoy, Lala, and you have to read the lot, in case I might mention your latest remark, then we're even? eh bro? and you're getting a free education...
I didn't say you mentioned PTS/RSPCA. The whole conversation you buzzed about, without reading much, was whether the dog was in either facility, and how many days it had, before PTS day, and whether any of us could get it out to anyone or get it an extension. I was saying you can piss me off about anything, and I'll wear it with relative goodhumour, but I can't laugh off those 2 subjects. It was really more of a request.
I did mean it as an insult. If this man did what is said, in 2012, That was the clear proviso of the remark, and anyone who has seen or dealt with fear biting, can see it played out in their heads. He is a supreme example of ignorance and/or brutishness and/or arrogance of individual humans, and this is something far less likely to be done, by women, who endeavour to coax, close up, tho' it is the worst thing you can do, apart from force. These days, that is animal behaviour 101. He was even given the advice on what to do, or not to do. That is what I was told the new homer told the distressed rehomer.
For someone who doesn't mind giving stick to people, why are you so upset about this man? Especially if he did behave that way. Did he ignore the advice/directions because it came from a woman? You can rescue the sensitive men who may or may not haul about terrified dogs.
In any case, I'm still thinking of going elsewhere. I'll miss some, a lot, but it would be nice to start in a happy place, perhaps overseas, where this can't happen again.

A driver is like a bit of "software" that makes the different pieces of hardware on your PC go....for lack of a better explanation.
I will post a link for you later.
Am I right in assuming that when you type, the cursor jumps to somewhere else in the post and jumbles up all the typing out of order?
If yes, I can give you a link of where to download the right driver. Download means save it to your computer, then you have to run it and install it. There will be instructions on the link.
Ill come back later and give it to you, I am cooking tea right now.
I really think this thread is now going nowhere so I am going to close it down.
MM I suggest that you try to not take things so personally. This is a public forum where we have people from all walks of life come on and talk dogs/offer free advice etc. Not everyone is going to agree on any given topic and you will come across people who you do not agree with also. Name calling/insults etc are all against forum rules, so keep that in mind.
Utilise the ignore function if you find some people upset you. I also agree with what other members have said, it is probably easier for you if you focus on rescues in your own area. I also live near Toowoomba, but have two dogs... one dog aggressive and could not afford to feed another let alone give it the attention it deserves. For most people it is not as easy and busting into the pound and taking the dog out to a happy forever home.

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.
