And that isn't what I said.So it doesn't seem a dog lover can't have more than one breed by the looks of it and if has a few dogs then they don't get the time and attention needed. This is so stupid and judgmental.
Do you have puppies available all the time? Or only when you have planned a litter? To have puppies available all the time would mean a lot of bitches (more than 5, maybe 10 - all pregnant all the time). I can't see how you could give that many bitches and that many litters enough attention. But maybe that's just me. Or maybe you didn't mean what the ad says in "well bred pets". You definitely want to go fix some of these ads up.
Dogs online - according to the entry for your prefix - you don't have any BC bitches - only male studs. So how do you have BC puppies all the time then?
I think it's possible for a responsible breeder to have "a few" dogs. But there are some ANKC breeders in SA at least but I hear of some in Vic and NSW that have 7 or more different breeds with puppies available, and their dogs live in outdoor pens away from human every day interaction. Some are listing more than 10 litters a year in the journals - but they don't have a huge staff. It's just one or two people with day jobs. Dogs are not herd animals to be bred like horses.
I'm glad to see you're not one of those but from a casual googling - which is what someone in this thread did - didn't look so good.
And I do know how much training goes into all those dog competition disciplines you do. I participate in that world too. Well not the conformation part - because I have an AWL mutt, but some of my friends do.
