First time posting here so be gentle.....please.
My neighbours dog (cross-breed) has just had puppies unexpectedly. The last one born has been rejected. I took it to the vet and they injected it with fluids and some antibiotics. I've been feeding it hourly and actually got it to start suckling yesterday however today the neighbours went out all day (not to my knowledge) and since they came back the pup has been rejected again, is dehydrrated (did the skin check) and it's muzzle is an ash pink colour.
I've told my neighbour to feed it hourly via bottle with newborn puppy formula and keep it warm with the other puppies....
Does anyone have any other advice?
