Can't you get her to get treatment? Doesn't she know it's far healthier, especially with children, to have contact with dirt, fur, feathers, etc? You're not rolling in dog poo. I was going to say, if she works, I'd be bringing in the dog for as much of the day as possible, if there's a bit of hair, etc, tell her it must have been on your clothes, let her get used to it, then 12 months later, tell her the dogs inside, 6 hours a day, and she hasn't imploded and no one has a swollen face and her decision is irrational. Is it that she doesn't like cleaning, or can't stop? If she can't stop, you could rent her out. Sorry. I'm being mean, here, and my black sense of humour is showing. I could really do with a cleaning visit, and if she did my place, she'd have the second choice of treatment, for obsessives, flooding... sorry black humour day, apparently, and it's only 6ish a m.
I have a mate with OCD, she does my larder for me. It drives her nuts that im so disorganised, and she feels 'soothed' by completing the task.
No one loves you like your dog does.
