Very true kelpie. The bad thing about a dog with "issues" is the person who owns it.
Saw this a few months ago on Facebook. It's a good image.
Hopefully they will blame the humans soon.
I agree, the image is a good one.
The problem here (warning: BSL rant).... Is that until we actually remove breed from our argument, we are limiting ourselves. Simple fact is, each and every one of those breeds have supporters and detractors (no prizes for guessing which one I own)- and if we focus on breed, the argument often comes down to a personal one. Personal arguments such as 'but my dog is such a nice one' rarely change views on a world state (despite their truth).
I wish I had artistic skills. My poster would focus on (IMHO) the core issue: 'safe' and 'dangerous' dogs can be identified by any one breathing based completely on physical attributes. Dangerous looks like 'this' set of arbitrary features, safe is everything else.
Sorry, rant over. I just really think the focus of the issue is off track.
I have never seen anyone be harmed by any of these breeds personally.
This argument is invalid.
