Hi guys...first of all i wanted to say thanks to everyone who contributed towards the QLD Mastiff thread. I had no idea it would take off like it did and i learnt a heap from it, especially about breeding and showing. I could have added these questions there since it headed into the show/breeder side of things but i thought i'd start a diffrent thread instead seeing as it's not about Mastiffs in general.
Now i dont want to show dogs ever but i'd probably go to some local ones soon because some friends of my wife are now showing....just been nosey i guess and my breeder also visits Bundy to show her Bullmastiffs somtimes.
So my questions are....I was told that desexed dogs cant show. Sorry if thats wrong but if it's so....why ??
What if a top show dog had to have his nuts removed because of a health issue (cancer or similar??) ?? Is that the end of thier show career ?
And can a dog still show if it did have a disease or illness that wouldnt affect other dogs around it ??
Thanks for any info....
