Sorry to hear about Cindy
There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.
Also, very sorry to read your sad news about Cindy !
Thank you guys for the sympathy received it is really much appreciated.
on the bright side - Zeus is 2 years old now and we have been giving him more attention from the family
mostly me and my son whos now 4 years old. We spend a lot of time during the afternoon playing with Zeus
fetching balls and run around. So a lot of activities happening.
I want to train him more and make him fit. I have existing Dina Bolts from the side of the house where he stays.
It used to be where our clothes line is but we moved it closer to the back door. So anyway, I bought triangular
bracket and bolted that on the wall. Then I added a spring and attached a rope toy at the end of it so he can
grab it and start playing, my problem is that he just stares on it and do nothing. it has been 3 days now with
no progress. He tries jump but never bites. In addition, it is not too high - its not like he needs to jump a foot
high. Any help and advise?
Probably need a photo - to see what it actually looks like. How close is it to the wall of the house ?
If it has been up for 3 days - he may have had a play - but hurt himself - so would be very reluctant to do that again.
The best toys like this are attached to a tree branch - where there is a lot of space around it !
Does your pup know how to play ? Do you play with your pup - or is it all just serious stuff ?
Maybe you need to teach you and your pup how to play !

Do you play tug with your pup ?
Maybe he doesn't like the toy that you have put up for him ?

Riley loves playing this with kids – and he is very good at it ! Bonus – no more whinging kids and they all end up totally pooped – including the pup !
Riley’s latest ‘find toy’ is a manky tea-towel with a knot tied in the middle of it. I change regularly what he has to find – to keep both of us on our toes !
The tea-towel has become a problem one – because it is the only one so far – that he seems to have to make a lap of honour whilst throwing it up in the air and catching it again. Problem is when it lands on the fan blades - result - one very upset pup !
There you are – heaps of fun things to do with your pup – and surprisingly enough – they are all still classed as training your pup !
