What a cutie
Aww, he looks adorable!
I like the last one the best
Awww squeee! He is too bloody cute
There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.
Looks very labby to me in pic 3 but not so much in the others LOL
Pets are forever
What a lovely pup. I think dingo*labby as well. Maybe not 1/2 dingo but a bit less. A dingo*kelpie would have up ears. Plus a first cross dingo generally looks much more like a dingo due to the strength of their genes. Meaning most of the dingo attributes are dominant so a first cross would most likely get these attributes. I think a dingo*kelpie would be like a kelpie but sandy - they are very similar looking dogs in general.
I recon a dingo grandparent due to scooters coat type and ears. That said his coat is quite smooth isn't it - not like a dingo or a labrador. Maybe something with a smoother coat like a bully bred in there - but no bully in face - maybe beagle???? What ever - Scooter looks like a treasure.
In my youth I had what I called a dingo*shepherd. No idea really as she was a pup shop cute pup. She was a great dog - dingo body and face but GSD ears. She was smart but also sly and very street-smart. Those were the days when dogs in Aus generally weren't kept behind fences.
Yer his coat is very smooth!
The rescue place sold him as a ridgeback x cattle dog there isn't much ridge in him I don't think... The reason we think dingo is he was rescued from an aboriginal camp area and the white tip on his tail is a pretty big clue. He also looks very much like a stereotypical dingo photo of the internet. Oh and he can climb rocks and jump things like a mountain goat!
He is highly intelligent, but I am also finding him extremely difficult to train - very stubborn, sly and quite aloof!
Takes up a lot of my time walking and training but he is a wicked dog with a crazy personality. Doesn't bark either which is a plus!
