Ive had one of those dog warden cards through my door, stating that i should call the warden as my dogs are insecurely fenced.
Have they got out? i asked. No.
On what basis are you judging that the fence is insecure? I asked. "they could jump that fence if they wanted to so its not secure".
How high do you think a fence should be that my GSD cant jump, even if he DID want to? i asked.
I dont know is the warden's answer.
My fence is chicken wire, around my waste hight (im 6ft) of course they can jump it, my shepherd can jump a 10 ft fence easily, if he wanted to. The point is, he doesnt, he's never run away, never wanders away from my side, cant let us out of his sight.
Where do i go with this one? i back onto national park land, i dont want to obscure my view of it with a fence!
The other matter on the card is that my dogs are unregistered, but that's because we have moved house this month, and the register is still at old address. So sorted in my head.
Im feeling anti dog warden right now. VERY ANTI DOG WARDEN
When people walk past my fence, my dogs may bark, sometimes they do, sometimes they dont. ie. its not a regular thing.
