I have been reading many posts and thought I would create a thread based on my experience and people around me.
Since it is a new and up and coming thing, I have been getting my dog treatments as we do us humans.
I see this qualified osteopath, masseur and animal acupuncturist. She has helped my dogs, friends dogs, hundreds of other people's dogs and horses.
I have seen that if some animals don't like needles or are sensitive that this therapist uses other treatments instead. So not all animals have tonged acupuncture to benefit however I have seen the best results with this.
I think it's important for people to be aware that there are treatments we can give our animals. As just like us when we play sport or long days at work, we get injuries or sore and tight muscles. I have learnt that our pets are the same and also need treatment whether it be maintenance or a treatment plan for a specific injury.
