Sorry to hear about your neighbour trouble. Would it help if you took your dogs for a long walk every night. Maybe they will settle better that way. My dog is very quiet, sleeps inside, and when he does bark it is only one low slow woooolllfff. It's a treat for me to hear him bark because it is so rare. Even so, I had a neighbour who lives 4 houses away complain about my dog barking at night. I tried to explain that it was not my dog but she said "as long as it doesn't happen too often". So annoying. I've been pulled up about poop in the street as well and you can see I carry a bag and you can see me picking up after my dog. But as my hubby said, the neighbours see me walk my dog every day and he is a big boy who stands out, every poop in the street and every bark they hear - they just think of the dog they see being walked. No wonder I prefer dogs to people sometimes. So I feel your pain. I hope things settle for you. What ever you do, try not to bite back, it's not worth it, try to ignore them.
