Hi all, we use to have a lot of snails, the ordinary garden variety, I have noticed this year they seem to be diminishing but didn't take any notice of it, however, today our girl Misty came to me with something in her mouth, when I told her to drop it ( I hate to think what she has eaten in her three short years) she dropped a snail out so I'm assuming that she is eating them. My question is, can these snails harm her? the fact there isn't many left in our back yard I'm assuming she is the one responsible, and if so they haven't done her any harm up to this point in time but then I don't know when she started. I can't bait the snails as she will definitely eat the bait, hence the snail increase over the past few years, and we have a big yard which extends beyond the house yard if you like so walking around picking them up by hand wouldn't work either, too many places for them to hide. Thanks in advance for any responses.
