I saw a diffrent vet the other day due to a bit of a mix up. Anyway old mate reckons Mojo's jaw was "deformed" as he put it because he has a slight underbite.
He reckons he may need some teeth removed or ground down when all his big teeth come through. I took this info on as been correct and i think i even mentioned it to some one who was lookin for a pup.
I've always believed everything a vet tells me, just like i do with a doctor but after a bit of research methinks i've been given a bum stear.
Apparently its the norm for 'smushy faced' dogs like Bullmastiffs, Bulldogs ,Boxers etc etc, to have a underbite rather than a level or overbite like other breeds do.
A Bullmastiff owner even went on to say it helps to 'hold' rather than cut flesh which to me makes sense as thats what the breed was designed to do.
I'm curious if other forum users here who have these type of breed dogs have can tell me if thier dogs have under, over or level bites and if they have had any dramas with thier dogs teeth as they grew up.
