My 11 week old labrador won't stop biting! At first he was really gentle when mouthing hands but i still taught him that biting is a no no. Now he is getting rough and is constantly nipping at hands, feet and clothes and it's beginning to get painful! I have tried yelling "OUCH" this just made him want to bite even more, telling him "NO" firmly which made him bark at me and want to bite more, leaving him alone/leaving the environment for about a minute or so this settles him down but as soon as i come back to play he starts again, swapping my hand for a chew toy and praising him when he chews the toy instead of me. He has plenty of toys to chew on, i've tried giving him ice cubes to sooth his gums and i encourage him to lick rather than bite.
Are there any other methods i could try?
Or should i be more persistent with the ones above?
