Not even for a second?
FYI, yes I have...heaps of times...for more than one second. I dont want to go outside every time the kid wants to bounce on the tramp, or play in the dirt.
Shes 12 now so it's almost moot but she has been going out with them "alone" since she was about 2 or 3 (different dogs over the years). I use "" around alone, as obviously when she was smaller I would be watching...not necessarily out there but watching, or sometimes out there but not right there if that makes sense.
And, I dont even feel like I shouldnt have done it - I would do it now if I had another (god forbid LOL).
That's how I grew up too...our childhood dogs were a vital part of "go and play outside adults are talking...and take the dogs" or whatever and noone would check on us for hours.
I dont recall there being so many maulings back then. So I have to wonder, are we doing something wrong with our dogs or children these days that is increasing these statistics, or is it just that with social networking and the internet the information is a hell of a lot more accessible....or is it a mixture of both?
