I will be putting Bear in boarding kennels again for a couple of days. He has been there before and seemed to go OK.
I am trying for this to be a normal part of his life with me. I wouldn't leave my previous dog and that reduced by ability to lead a normal life. Bear is fairly easy-going but I wonder how their minds work when they are in boarding kennels.
House-sitters and taking him with me are not an option. The other option would be to leave him at home alone for the 2 days I will be away and get a neighbour to feed him. But I think that might be more traumatic, at least he will have company in the kennels.
What do you think?
