Just rang. Jodi is doing well. Receptionist said she has to be confined to a pen.
Yea right. Like I am going to shove her in a crate when she has no experience of it which would cause even more movement and anguish for her trying frantically to get out.
I have a wonderful heavy coffee table one of my sons made in year 10 at school. I have the laptop on my lap and my feet up on it when I am on the net and Jodi's place is right here, right beside me all and every day until I move anywhere.
Have in one of the comfy beds which will go there and she will be on a short tether..a lead length so she can change position and it will keep her there when I am off around the house.
Doing the same in the bedroom at nights.
Problem is my other dogs will be unable to be inside as they are used to and I am coming up with a win win plan. I think the only person who loses is hubby.
Am thinking Bandit and Pretty in the pen all day but inside for nights down in our room but I think Jodi and I will move to the spare room for the duration with her again tethered by a bed leg next to me but on the floor so she can't jump up.
Hubby decamped to the spare room when Pretty had the pups in our room until they were old enough to be outside in the small pen under the carport so it is not as if he hasn't come second to dog's needs before, lol.
I will bring the others one at a time on and off during the day. All they do is crashout anyway so I will be able to do very close supervision. Great excuse to do less housework, lol.
