They don't even chew their food
''Lockjaw'' is not an actual condition and has not been found to exist in any breed of Dog. Staffordshire Bull Terriers do have amazing jaw strength for their size, but their jaw formation is the same as any other breed of dog.

No grammar no problem I don't know how to fly it any way Bye
No breed of dog has lockjaw. What Staffies and other bull breeds have is a VERY strong jaw (but no stonger than Rotti's, German Shepherds and a few other breeds) but the difference is that they are terriers so they are DETERMINED, so they latch on and hold on with all of their strength and they will not let go unless made to. Hence the reason many owners of bull breeds especially in the states own and carry break sticks with them on walks, it is a very effect way of breaking their hold. I can guarantee you though that many a animal, dog, cat whatever has survived encounters with Bull breed dogs.
And I doubt the new owners of Maddy abused her until she killed their other dog. You have just said Maddy had dog aggression issues before you rehomed her (she should never have been rehomed as a DA dog, especially not to a home with another dog) that was bad management on your mums part and on the part of the new owner and because of that 2 dogs are dead. Not because of abuse. You also have to question your Mum's choice of home for a DA dog if she sent her off to an abusive home.
Also in regards to the lock jaw I agree that dogs don't have 'lock jaw'. And it neither do I have a thing againts staffies, I have friends who only owns staffies or staffie crosses. My boy oftern plays with the under supervision. He has been near Dingos, pappillions, Jack russells, Kelpies, even a pedigree ridgeback. And myself personally have been around many more breeds including the occational Pit Bull. Never had a problem in the past by using simple common sense when handling any animal.
thank you again to all for the concern (and compliments ) for my son he is off to the docs to day for a follow up appoint ment to make sure he is healing well. As for the actual incident I have contacted the shire and will continue from there
Well my daughter apparently looks alot like my when she was younger so she is going to be skinny till she falls pregnant then have a perminantly HUGE a$$ with some major hail damage!
LMAO BL, my girl is me all over too, just a lebanese version! man i would have killed for her olive skin!
lmao at hail damage BL
My girl is a stunner, id love to say she looks like me but she doesnt.
My dog Chevy (who is dead) I could 100% guarantee she would never ever bite a person. EVER (not because she is dead, I meant if she was alive).
I would be willing to put millions on her never biting regardless of what was going on, and all of you would put that kind of money on it too if you met her lol
Katy and Lukey go to a Special School where young, both mentally and physically disabled kids play and cuddle them. They both love all the attention. Mind you I am always there. And many of my newfie friends also have their dogs doing Therapy work, both here in Australia and Over seas....Some dog breeds are just that way. Just like a Border Collie has to work sheep a Newfie has to "save" people, especially kids. BUT......A newfie raised in a bad environment, like my Annabelle can still become an unreliable dog. I would never put her in an environment where I was not 100% sure of what would happen.
