Last year in December I noticed that Roxie had a lump in her throat. I took her to the vet, he said keep an eye on it, it should be fine.
Her throat is brown, this spot is pink and very noticeable. When I first spotted it, it was puffy and gum pink. I kept an eye on it like the vet said, and it went 'down'. The spot itself was still there, but it was flat and the same texture as the rest of her throat.
Now I've noticed that it's puffy again. It's changed shape but doesn't seem to have grown.
Her behavior is still the same, in the past couple of days she hasn't been very hungry. I think this is more to do with what she's being fed, because she still wants tid-bits and harasses me when I eat, so I'm not overly worried.
I'm planning on making an appointment with the vet tomorrow, I figure it's best to just get it checked out. I just thought someone on here might have seen something similar or have any advice. I'm hesitant about the vet because our last dog had a lump and it was cancer. I'm not jumping to conclusions, but it's in the back of my mind and makes me nervous.
This is it in December and again now.
