my dogs don't do as they are told because they are submissive to me, they do it because they know it is in their best interests. i.e i say sit, the sooner their butt hits the ground the sooner they get a treat.

i have a Siberian Husky. they are the not the submissive type, the will fob you off more times than even glance your way. but i have worked with mine so she knows im telling her to do something and she will more than likely get something good out of it and she respects that i will follow through with the rewards when she deserves it
