So i bought my first "purebred" dog.
A BEAUTIFUL 6 month old blue roan cocker spaniel girl.
I am now a self proclaimed cocker spaniel nut! lol
She came from a registered breeder up past newcastle who kept her and her as they were both pick of the litter for showing..
When they reached five months old she made the decision that her sister made the cut better than my sasha baby so she decided to sell her as a pet.
She does not have any papers however is from papered parents.
The breeder has assured me if i want to breed her ( which i do when she is old enough) that she will make great pups (with the right dog) and that i should go ahead.
I guess i want to know how i would go about getting a stud for her?? would somebody breed their dog with my girl even though she has no papers?? what colour should i/ and shouldnt i breed a blue roan with? or is there no preference?
This is the beginning of what i hope will turn into a lifestyle change to a dog breeder ( of cocker spaniels of course)
I want to see how she goes and how i go getting her bred, then if all goes well i will look into getting into showing/ and or breeding.
Any CONSTRUCTIVE feedback would be great
thanks for reading guys!
