We are planing on buying an old bus & doing it up with crates & other dog type furniture(hammocks, grooming bench etc) along approx 70% of 1 side & the rest living areas for me & the OH. We are going to build racks to hold demontable runs in on the outside of the bus & tow a 4WD behind, lol. We have approx 10yrs to make this happen as our youngest is nearly 8 & as soon as he's settled at UNI we'd like to take off around Aus just OH, me & approx 6 dogs, lol. OH says I will have to have numbers down by then, lol.
Hope you have a great holiday & Byron Bay is mostly doggy friendly in general or it was 3/4 yrs ago anyway. I always take a bag in the car with a bottle of water, wipes, towel, plastic bag & rags to clean up any vomits or other accidents while travelling with dogs & an icecream bucket for water. A teether that screws into the ground, extra collar & lead, their own food, their vacc/vet certs & make sure their m/c details are up to date & collars with ID are on & not too loose or collar too worn before you even leave,
Have fun, wish I was going i love BB.
