Earlier we went to see some friends, and they had the most beautiful kelpie/husky cross I've ever seen. She was around four months old, stood up to my thighs (she was huge!), and had long, shedding fur. While there my brother broke out in a horrible rash. We've been thinking that he's allergic to dog hair, however, he's doesn't react with my boyfriend's dog (an english staffy). Can you be allergic specifically to long-haired dogs or are staffies just that awesome? lol
At our home, he doesn't go out the back too often because he breaks out into itchy escema, and we've always previously thought it was due to something in the grass. However, if it's the dog hair at fault, is there something I can do with the dog to help it in addition to drugs/cream for my brother? I don't want to have to sell or give him away because he's giving my brother skin problems.
