A lot has changed since I was last here.
I got border collie pup, and unfortunately she had a genetic problem which caused a jaw infection. After three rounds of anti-b's, her little body could not take anymore and she started having seizures. We put her down the next day. RIP Lexi.
A few days before we put my gorgeous baby down, Bella got a tick. She got the anti venom, but contracted pneumonia and she was gone the next morning. Losing two dogs was terrible, I almost couldn't cope.
We went for a drive, Mum and I. After a while we started going the wrong direction, and I said, what are we doing? But Mum said nothing, so I was like, okay then. Then after about half an hour I asked her again. Nothing. Another half hour - nothing. Another half hour - I have someone I want you to meet. Of course she wouldn't tell me, and I thought she was talking about a show jumping instructor or something like that because she has been nagging me to get into show jumping. Well we drove for a while longer, and then we pulled into someones driveway and two great big black ----------- came bounding out from the back of the house ( I hadn't caught on, even by then - I thought it was a coincidence ) and I was patting them and stuff when a woman came out of the house and was talking to Mum when around the corner of the house a whole bunch of gorgeous, huge-pawed wriggly puppies came, and of course I had to go play with them, when Mum told me to pick one. I was all, whaaaaaaaaaaat? Mum was just like, Pick one. There were about eight of them, most of them black with three fawns - two girls and a boy. I knew I wanted a fawn, because that is my favourite colour, and one fawn girl was tiny and one massive, with huge paws and the sweetest face, and she was rather insistently trying to lick my face and fight her siblings off at once, and then when I stood up she stuck to me like velcro, even when the other pups dispersed from around me to play with each other, she stayed with me and when I patted her she wriggled so much I thought her bum was going to fall off! As much and I tried to get away from her, she stuck to me like glue. I said to Mum, I don't think I really have a choice about this one. Then Mum said that this was my new dog!
Guess what breed I got?
