Im 22 and live with a friend. She doesn't have any pets, which is good cause I have 2 dogs, a cat, 2 rabbits and chooks and ducks(and a horse but he's agisted 5 minutes up the road).
Im on the Mornington Peninsula, Vic, and my grandpa and step-grandma live in Nangus, NSW on a 1000acre sheep farm. He's had the farm for about 15 years, so we were visiting him as a family when I was at home, but I still love going up there with the dogs when I get a chance. He's a real traditional farmer. Dogs are workers. His dogs are what a lot of city folk would think of as too skinny, but they look like Kalacreeks, Ruby. You can see a slight amount of hip bone. A lot of people don't realise thats how they're meant to look. Lady is probably a bit too bulky, but considering she doesn't work, she's pretty good
As for non working farm dogs being inside, my grandpas next door neighbour-try a three minute drive they have a little Pomeranian that lives inside and is their pet, and then three Kelpies that live outside.
Oh, and call me Myf
