I grew up with dogs, my dad had hunting dogs, and we had a special blue heeler called "Bobby" the things that dog got up to.......we still laugh and cry when we talk about him.
When I left home I had a red heeler x called "Betty" she was with me for 18 beautiful years, she is buried here in our backyard, she died on rememberance day. She travelled everywhere with me.
I have a red heeler cross called "Millie" I got her from the RSPCA when she was a puppy, she was malnutritioned and in a bad way, she is now 8 years old and has a great life with us.
We have a 15 year old blue cattle x chow called "B.D" lucky I work as a vet nurse as I can bring home some feel good medication now and then to make her back legs work a bit better. The Vet makes up a mixture with green lip musscle and omega oils ect, she gets that in her food at night. She just keeps on going.
Then we have "Rex" the blue heeler, the tail chaser, the shadow chaser, and the I love anything sparkley. He is now over one year old and is such a character. He gets to go to work on the ute everyday, and hang with us all at night. He is the added attraction to this household. Tries to bluff me and take over, but I have to be a bit strong with him.
As you can see I love my dogs, I wouldnt be without one, Life is great with such good friends around me.
