Geoff the Airedale is 6 months old and weighs 16kg. His breeder said he has always been a bit of a guts He has been raised on a raw (but I don't think BARF) diet.
I am currently feeding him morning and evening. Morning = a chicken frame or some brisket bones. PM = about 250gm of home made food made up of mince (human beef or kangaroo) mixed with some cooked brown rice, some tinned sardines, ground up veges(whatever is on special excluding onions), a couple of eggs - shells and all, some kelp powder, natural yoghurt and a dash of vegemite. I have done this because i just make a big batch of food and freeze it. I take it out in the morning, it is ready to go in the evening.
He has never had kibble and his breeder told me to avoid it because they have sensitive skin and can get allergies.
Is this enough, too much, balanced, unbalanced?
I know there are many opinions on food, but I thought you are probably better informed than I am.
