Thanks guys. I was hoping for a recommendation for someone who won't kill the snake
3 snakes here today.
the grass is long, the water's nearby, perfect. Come on down reptiles!
Brian has yet to be trained. Maybe get some time this w/e to give it a go.
rubber snake on string here we come. Im not going near anything live.
you know the fun thing about snakes and really hot days?
They don't like it any more than I do. Nice warm mid 20s to low 30s - great. 40+ no thanks - so if you think they won't be out in the "cool" 27'C of the morning - got another think coming.
Beach will be great - if we can stay out of the sand dunes.
I feel much safee watering my vege garden/tyres in heatwaves in the middle of the day by flooding them and moving the hose around the ground not wetting the leaves (burn) instead of in the mornings or evenings as I am aware of this as well.
Any posts made under the name of Di_dee1 one can be used by anyone as I do not give a rats.
Ahh, that's not encouraging... down here in victoria during summer it is often somewhere from 25 to 30 degrees...
When i go walking through the paddocks on my property with Koda, i used to wear thongs cause i was lazy.... now i am much more cautious and have actually been wearing gum boots while walking down there. I'm yet to meet a snake on my walk but i am sure it will happen soon especially while we are growing the grass long for hay bales (I don't walk through the long grass though... that would be crazy!!)
