It was very much alive. But probably did not survive long after the bailing string was cut... sad to say.
a bit like finding a white tail in your bed - usually too freaked out to be nice to it.
My parents used to have a dairy farm and they used Border Collies to get the cows in. Many years ago my dad once found his dogs had a tiger snake bailed up in a corner, there wasn't much he could do to keep his dogs safe except for kill the snake. I think its only ever okay to kill a snake when in a situation where there is really no other option like in that situation.
Does anyone know of a good dog trainer for snake avoidance in WA preferably in the Bunbury region.
