I have an 11 month old Pomeranian x Shih-Tsu x Maltese (basically looks like a white Pomeranian) whom we have had since November 2009 and on Sunday, we just brought home an 8 week old (just turned 9 weeks on Tuesday) Australian Silky Terrier x Jack Russell.
The Pomeranian, Ruski, is a female and the new puppy, Bailey, is a male.
They took a liking to each other straight away (haven't really noticed much jealousy) and play tug of war and play fight all the time. They don't get aggressive, just play a bit rough like rolling around, jumping on top of each other, biting, including biting each other's faces (I watch carefully so they don't hurt each other) and growl a bit but don't seem to be hurting each other.
This is my first time having 2 dogs at the same time and am just concerned if this is going to encourage either of them to become vicious towards other dogs when they get older? Or is this just normal puppy behaviour? Don't know whether to stop them sometimes or just let them play.
Any advice would be appreciated!
