Last week at school in Food Tech, we made jam. I found it really interesting and fun, so Ive decided to make some of my own. Thing is, Im not putting nearly two cups of sugar in it, and Ive no strawberries.
What I DO have, is raspberries and honey and apples, so Ive decided to use them!
I made much more than I thought I wouldve, so instead of using one apple, Ive had to use two, or else there wouldnt be enough pectin (sp?) in it, and I dont want it all runny.
Ive put it in the fridge to settle, and tomorow morning I'll be up nice and early to simmer it so it's ready for mum's breaky in bed
