Logan Tried to Fly Yesterday!
Well, not really, but was freaky.
A very very elderly lady with a walking stick was slowly walking her small dog past our property. She had the dog on one of those long retractable leads. We have a hedge out the front of our place and one section of it has been removed. I was outside so was able to hear Logan going mental, and her body language, stance, fur up was kind of a dead giveaway! Lol.
Went out onto the side balcony to see what was up, and next thing I know, the lady has given her dog the full length of this extroadinarily long lead and the dog has proceeded to come into my yard and started prancing up the driveway. Dog was almost at the front of the house downstairs.
Logan proceeded to get more irate, naturally, and her front body was over the balcony on the second floor preparing to leap onto the roof of the bottom story before I raced up there. She could have killed herself.
Because Logan is de-barked, the lady obviously could not hear her, so as I'm running I'm yelling out to her to get her dog off my property NOW! She looked up, saw Logan with half her body over the balcony trying to get onto the roof below and retracted the lead as fast as she could.
Ever seen a dog retracted in fast motion?
The lady toddled off as fast as her walking stick could take her, and I swear the poor thing needed some depends after that.
Never seen her before, and sure hope she doesn't pass this way again.
Why oh why can ppl not realise that it's NOT okay to let their dogs wander into other ppl's premises??
