I took Ash for his first off lead walk today I feel so proud coz he was such a good boy lol
It was still early 10 to 7am when left so still quiet out only saw a couple of cars.
I've been hesitant up until now because we live in inner suburbs Melbourne and he has always run off at any opportunity given but his recall is almost 100% now and I have been letting him go from the car (out on the street) into our house off lead and he hasn't run off.
I was teaching him a few things along the walk, any suggestions of what else I could teach would be most welcomed.
- Out of there (when he goes into other peoples driveways/yards)
- off the road
- always ask for a sit when we come to a road
- yucky leave (when he goes near poo hehe)
Just basic commands really but is there anything you have ever needed to use and glad you have taught?
Long post but just wanted to share
