When we leave the premises, we have on various occasions turned round to park and 'spy' on Logan, and once she realises we are gone from the property, she does not appear to stress whatsoever. She spends her time on the deck watching cars and ppl go by and usually plays with her toys quite contentedly, from what we have witnessed.
Different story if we are home however. She will obey every command to come wheerever we are in the house, but if we command her to come to us once we step outside the back door, she does NOT want to go outside. AT ALL.
I have been putting her outside at regular intervals for short periods when I'm home. She freaks for a while, pacing to and fro, and has even learnt how to open both the security door and back door. i have to actually lock them both to stop her jumping up and turning the latches.
Seriously guys, she freaks being outside knowing we are in the house. Once we let her in, she is fine and follows us everywhere, plays like her normal self.
She is so attcahed it's not funny, yet shows not one sign of separation anxiety if she is in the car while I duck into a shop, or at any other time. She is also not showing one iota of protective aggression in any way.
What can I do to ease her anxiety about being outside when we are in the house?
