My mum proudly wears one blue sock and one white sock to her fancy golf club - because frosty ate one of each of the pairs. I did buy her some acceptable new socks to replace the eaten ones but why waste the odd ones.
Once Frosty gets hold of a stuffed toy, you can't tell if it's been run over by the lawn mower or not. Looks the same either way.
Ziggy saves us the trouble by doing that to her toys by herself
Oh we have a fair amount of shredding of toys via the dogs going on but this is a lovely row of fine shredding in nice rows spat out by the mower, kind of like I planted white fluffy stuff all in a row.
One of the reasons I'd like the toy box with a lid is so that the stuffed toys can be put away because one of their favourite things to do after they are tired out is to just sit and kill the toy until they get to the squeaker out.
Specifically designed chew toys can be left out.
But the fluffy toys can at least be saved and brought out on occasion.
We have quite a few flat bodies, all stuffing removed, very difficult to detect in the long grass because they all go a lovely shade of dirt and grass stain and blend in and the second you pick them up and put them in the milk crate to mow, they pick them all back out again and then bingo just mowed over another one that wasn't there 5 minutes ago.
