I took Banjo to training for the first time last night. It was just to sign up, have an 'orientation lecture' and then first week of may I bring him in to start grade 1.
Jease he went mental last night- barked and whined as soon as we got out of the car and did not stop all night causing lots of dirty looks my way. We had to wait half an hour for the lecture so we waited far back in the trees so as not to distrupt the groups that were already training. Then when we saw all the newbies gather we walked over, an nice couple had this adoribal little black puppy (but bigger theh banj) and they brought her over to meet banjo. I am thinking yay me and Banjo are making friends! So what does Banjo do? he goes in for the kill on this poor little thing (luckily she thought it was a game). causing them to say nevermind and walk over the other side! taking with them others that were standing nearby.
Then at the lecture he was barking and fidgeting and pulling so hard on the lead and biting me. So that they had to ask my partner to take him away and let me listen.
OMG I didnt knwo he could be so naughty! I know he was probably just super excited... it was when he almost attacked the other dog that has really gotten me worried though.
He spent a lot of time at the RSPCA sharing space with other dogs so I wonder why now he is acting all antisocial?
And I am thinking if he was a well behaved dog he wouldnt be there in the first place right.. but I feel really bad for everyone there when he acts this naughty!
On the upside they have a certificate they award to each class at the month to the 'most improved' dog- I think we are in for a good chance!
There were so many different types of dogs there! oh my god and there were some that you could tell were show dogs- they were stunning!
the cutest of the night though? The most adorible staffy puppy I have ever seen! omg that face washed away all the stress of the night.
Anyway am very much looking forward to having a well behaved pooch and am looking forward to moving up through levels and finally get him to be my fly ball champ I know he is!
