Dogs Aren't Our Whole Lives, But They Make Our Lives Whole
Glad that Floyds little tummy problem is over! I bet he loved having his tummy rubbed to get rid of the wind!
I'd hold off too AF, leave it for 3 days, it isn't going to hurt to delay it.
You can get manuka honey in your health shop, it is far superior to normal honey (and much more expensive!). I keep mine in the fridge, I've seen the effects it can have, I had a foster horse who cut his leg on something, slathered manuka honey on it (after flushing it out), bandaged it lightly and within 3 days it had healed over beautifully.
It's good for when we get sore throats, same principle applies to dogs!
Everyone should keep a little jar at home - a little goes a long way!

manuka honey is also available in the health section in Coles.
If you have pups and they seem a bit slow at feeding off their mum or off colour a little bit on your fingertip, into their mouth & a smear on the teat has them pick up nicely and suck well. You can give it to them every few hours without harm.
