Hi. I was just reading a post about giving away a dog because of young children. For us dogs have always been a part of our lives, and when we had each of our 3 children, the babies get "introduced" to our dogs, we allow the dogs to have a look and a smell, they are only moved away if they lick the bubs. Our childen play unsupervised (ages 3 and 8) with our dogs (well at the moment its a little different as we have a puppy and bub). I am curious as to how many of you have children, how they get on with the furbabies ect. I think having pets is an awsome thing to have around children it teaches them soo much!! I will share a couple of our youngest with our late aussie bulldog, unfortunatly there friendship was cut extremly short in Feb after he got bitten by a snake..
