The dogs have all calmed down & are back out of the dog run, but the birds are starting to drive me nuts. Even the maggie's are now in on the act. It's at the very top of a smallish gum tree, I think it can link to some other trees but the branches are very fine up so high.
Have left a message on an answering machine with Wires.
Thankfully it's not hot today.
It's a brush tail.
At our old place the noisy minors (the native grey ones) used to dive bomb Gemma, she has a very low tolerance for them.
I think it will stay in the tree and wait for night before moving on unless it's very sick. Once I realised what all the racket was about I went and closed the gate to the orchard/puppy run, Gemma did jump in (it's only 4ft fencing if that) which is why I locked all the dogs away for a while.
The whippets are bored with the whole idea and even Gemma has gone to bed but the birds are driving me crazy.
At least when it's a blue tongue or snake (diamond python) I can move the animal myself, but I can't even reach the possum let alone do anything about it even if I could.
