gotten out that is. Came home from Bunnings - chasing up baby gates to block off the kids bedroom area as 6 dogs making themselves at home on beds and steeling kids things from the floor is more easily controlled by a baby gate than trying to train dogs to stay out of rooms that kids often smuggle them into or getting kids to pick their crap of the floor every day.
Anyway I digress. There she was, you know who, sitting on the front porch absolutely buggered.
And while I shouldn't of done this, I just left her there and went inside and erected the baby gate, I was so angry. How she got out I don't know, she has been swimming again. Something must be touching the electric fence and it's not working.
She does this every so often but we thought we'd rectified all the low points in the fence.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad she's in one piece, I'm glad the Whippets never feel inclined to follow her, I'm thankful she's a friendly dog and likes other animals/stock, I'm glad the end of the street is a cul-de-sac. But I still can't look at her without wanting to strangle her.
So guess what we're doing this long weekend.....yep you guessed it more fencing, yippee can't wait.
