Izzy is now at my friends house and I will return later tonight to stay with her. Until the 16th of april she will be stay at my friends and will be confined when no one is home. She seemed happy enough when I dropped her off.
This is really a case that has to be seen due to the severity - dog to human aggression.
Best of luck.
When she bit you did you have the chihuahua in your hands? Just wondering if she was aiming for the dog, not you, but missed.
Sadly I hate to say it but if Izzy is such a threat to your other animals, then maybe you should look at rehoming her IF it's only animal aggression.
Has the vet had a look at Izzy, ie blood work etc to see if there is an underlying health issue that has suddenly brought this behaviour to the fore?
I truly hope the behaviourist can help you.
In My Home Dog Minding
It is a really hard situation for you and I really feel for you!!! I wish you lots of luck and really hope there is a happy ending to this story. You are doing a really good thing trying to help this dog but also making the effort to keep yourself and your other dogs safe!
My thoughts are with you and your family.
I hope a solution will be evident to the trainer and a plan of action/training can commence.
