I have to say I do feel similar frustration to Di Dee. I've posted the upset tummy fix list more than once on this forum for various people which does work pretty well with a google site search. Fairly sure people told you to fast your dog and you ignored or argued with them.
I do find it annoying generally when people ask the same question as someone else - like they don't even bother to look for or read any other related threads in the forum before asking for help. And no, that's not directed at you this time Amy86.
I'm glad you saw the vet and found the advice reassuring. Note if the vet's advice doesn't work you do need to follow up not just hope it will go away, though I'm sure you won't do that either.
And on the subject of "ruining" a dog - that's what new parents do with their first child/dog. I'm sure as the oldest in my family I was "ruined" and didn't cope too well with siblings. And I've watched my sister bring up a "velcro" baby - ie one that hated being anywhere but attached to her. And oops - I've brought up a velcro dog. One that objects loudly to being shut out the back when she knows I'm home, though she's good if she knows I'm out - according to my neighbours.
And I'm home a lot more than someone who works full time or has school and we do obedience, and agility and two times 1 hour walks (or longer) every day (with slight variation to fit in classes). I don't do schutzenhound and won't - not with Frosty anyway.
And I'm assured she's been ruined by someone who thinks I should do corrections with a rolled up newspaper (Frosty thinks that's a great game, she's too agile for me to actually connect, and she likes shredding paper). And I admit I get separation anxiety worse than her. I don't want to leave her with anyone I know has dodgy fences or snakes or thinks it's ok to hit a dog to correct it or "teach it NO", or anyone too fragile to hold her if she gets into sled dog mode. So there goes most of my friends, my brother and my mum as dog sitters. And I don't want to leave her in a boarding kennel in the hills during fire season, just in case. Never mind there could be a fire from an electrical fault instead. Sigh.
So I've ruined her...
But I'm not that bothered really.
