I think you are doing pretty good for a household of 4 & a 1/2.

The biggest expence I have for grocery type food is bread and milk, I cant believe how expensive milk has become! I once said if milk gets to a stupid price then I will either buy a milking cow or simply have to leave the country and move to the hills of Butan and buy me a Yak or two, or something like that. Could be sooner than I think!
I'm only me and the dog, so I don't spend much at all, I hate wastage too.
Mum used to say there are starving sparrows in ethiopia who could do with my leftovers, she never gave me an address to send it on though., so I had to make sure my eyeballs wern't bigger than my stomach at all times.
