Di, she was sold to a show family, but her ears are 'soft.' They are perfectly upright, but the ligaments are not strong enough, or firm enough, to be considered in the show-ring. The breeder has kept her for a few months in the hope they would get stronger, but they haven't, hence her need to find a suitable pet home for her.

Apparently my Crested has very good ear muscle at the base (meaning they will never flop completely) but the ends tip over because he has just started teething.
Stress can also cause them to tip over.
I have mine all taped up at the moment until the cartilage hardens and they stay up permanently

I think it's cute! They swap over sometimes too, usually happens when he has just woken up though, so I'm not sure it has much to do with stress in Batty's case.
Thank you for letting me know about it! I wouldn't have a clue about taping and I'm not even going to consider it, I'm sure they will decide which way to go on their own!!
